How does a new patient consult a doctor at Masina Hospital?

A new patient can consult a doctor at the Hospital through the OPD and Polyclinic (private consultation with the doctor) services.
OPD charges are Rs. 200 for the first consultation and follow up charges are Rs. 100 for the next 3 visits.
Polyclinic charges are to be discussed with the concerned doctor.

What is the process of Admission at Masina Hospital?

The admission counter at the hospital is open 24/7. Patients need to bring their doctor's advice given for admission, or they can directly go to the Casualty. We have different categories of rooms to suit all kinds of patients. Admission process can take anywhere between 15 min to 30 min. A nominal deposit is charged at the time of admission as a hospital policy.
Emergency cases are directly taken into the casualty dept and then the admission process takes place.

What are the treatment charges at the hospital?

Are meals served to the patients who are admitted in the hospital?

3 meals are served daily i.e. breakfast, lunch & dinner. All the meals are prepared under the supervision of a dietician; the meal charges are included in the bill. We also have a canteen facility for families and visitors.

What are the visiting hours at the hospital?

The visiting hours are strictly between Morning 9 am to 10 am in ICU & Evening 5 PM and 7 PM in Wards only. No visitors will be entertained other than the visiting hours, unless in an emergency.

Does the Hospital give free treatment or any concession to the poor patients?

How does one donate to Masina hospital?

The donee may approach the Accounts department for all queries. All donation’s given will be used strictly as per the request of the donee.
All donations are entitled to a 50% Income Tax exemption under 80G.

What are the different categories of rooms at the hospital?

  • General Ward rooms - These beds are in separate Male and Female general wards, where each ward has approximately 12-14 beds.
  • Class II rooms (AC / Non AC) - These are single occupancy rooms which may or may not have an attached toilet.
  • Class I rooms - These have AC, flat screen TV’s, en suite toilet and a separate cot for relatives.
  • Deluxe / Super deluxe Rooms - These rooms are more spacious and have the same facilities as Class I rooms.
